We are seeking Team Leaders to join the HAL team. You will control and delegate work tasks to valet driver's on shift, maintaining work schedules to the demands of HAL in compliance with written working procedures, and to be responsible for vehicle key's, security and paperwork in their charge whilst on duty, to maintain a continuous report of all KPI's and report this accurately Daily
Support and deputise for the Service Delivery Manager to ensure continuity of Valet standards and compliance across the operation
What you'll do:
Prepare in advance, for approval by SDM all rosters on a daily and weekly basis.
Assist staff, particularly those who interact with the public and to respond immediately to requests for assistance from staff
Carry out daily/weekly team briefings.
Monitor performance regularly and instigate appropriate remedial action to address shortcomings of any staff.
Receive and answer all parking enquiries from members of the public in a clear and concise manner, knowledgeable about all aspect of Short Stay/Long Stay and Valet Parking.
Respond to client requests for information within given timeframes without giving any sensitive information to outside agencies.
Carry out a Team Leaders take over. To check and sign for all customers keys daily and maintain the security of these throughout your shift.
Ensure all Terminals have sufficient stocks of daily consumables, that there are sufficient batteries for all electronic items.
Maintain an accurate report of all Transfers in and out/car care movements, liaising with Reception staff regularly.
Greet customers in a courteous manner when in contact.
Ensure that all Valet Driver staff rostered on are on shift, report any variance, sickness or illness, arrange cover if required - advise Valet Supervisor / Duty Manager via daily report sheet.
Complete an End of Business Report, detailing business Key Performance Indicators, for the attention of the Duty Manager and Accounts as required daily
To ensure compliance with the standard ISO 9002 by regular reviews, Quality Assurance.
Ensure that all staff on duty present them selves on time at the duty station in a smart, uniform, clean and well groomed manner and report any deviations from this, and to ensure that you are in an immaculate standard of dress.
Ensure that all offices are clean and that all notice boards are neat at all times Maintain a checkable record of cleaning for each location.
Complete a handover and receive a signed take over for the correct amount of keys before ending shift.
What you'll bring:
Familiarity with Microsoft office, including word, excel and outlook.
Supervisory/ Management Skills of 10 and more staff.
Excellent Customer Service Skills with Impeccable communication skills.
GSCE or equivalent in English and Maths
Full UK Driving Licence - No Convictions
NVQ Level 2 Parking Control.
Ability to train staff on and operate SKIDATA equipment
NVQ Training Qualification or equivalent.
What we'll offer you:
42 hours per week (4 on 4 off - 12 hour night shift)
£22,080 per annum
