As System Application Engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated team that supports European key customers with cutting-edge technical solutions for Battery Powered Applications and Robotics. The main task will be to provide system offerings for low voltage motor control drives and battery management systems including tailoring software for embedded controllers.Our system application engineering team supports our customers in finding the best technical solutions, develops a deep system understanding for respective applications, collects requirements for the definition of the next generation of products and works closely together with the Infineon account teams.In your new job you will:Support design-in / win of discrete and IC products at application level with direct customer interaction and special focus on application software development for digital productsDesign customized system solutions including embedded software for battery powered applications / low voltage motor controlPerform circuit analysis with modelling, simulation, and bench validation based on customer application requirements including generation of reference schematics, BOM, PCB layout guidelines, and test reportsEvaluate competitor's products and demonstrate transition to Infineon solutionsDevelop know-how on motor control applications andwork closely with both our customers and Infineon engineers to capture requirements for future productsCreate professional training material and train customers on products and system conceptsWork cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D and Account teams to create suitable solutionsVisit customers in EMEA region for technical discussions and to provide trainingsAs System Application Engineer, you enjoy working on new system solutions with customers.
