Job Description

About the team The team's goal is to build tools that enhance the scalability of Zillow Group's financial operations, covering tasks such as payment processing, accounting, tax management, financial forecasting, and the monetization of Zillow's premium products. We are the technical owners of the systems relied upon by Zillow for external financial reporting and revenue generation to drive innovation company-wide. This is achieved through custom tool development and system integrations across SaaS and in-house Zillow-built applications. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, demonstrate leadership qualities, and possess the drive to tackle new challenges as we advance technology.
The team thrives on challenges and celebrates success together. If you enjoy working in a supportive environment that fosters creativity, encourages ownership, and promotes career growth, we invite you to join us! About the role

Are you passionate about nurturing your team members' careers while maintaining a firm grasp of technical intricacies? As a Senior Technical Program Manager in this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while honing your people management skills.

In this role, the TPM will primarily support the Finance Technology team, diving deep into the capabilities of the Finance processes and integration layer, and our billing platform strategy. Utilizing this knowledge, the TPM will collaborate with and facilitate communication among partners from Product, Engineering, and Finance. Responsibilities include shaping and prioritizing the team's roadmap, defining intricate cross-team solutions and technical requirements, and actively steering projects to successful completion. This role is categorized as a Remote position.

Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Provide high quality customer service and communicate project status to stakeholders regularly.

  • Proactively identify, manage and mitigate project risks and find ways to accomplish project goals in the context of dynamic business/technical environments.

  • Partner and coordinate with cross-functional Zillow Group teams to ensure our managed applications and processes are a success.

Required experience:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience working with custom built and SaaS development products, of that at least 5 to 7 years working with financial applications

  • Leading medium to large scale projects across five or more cross-functional teams in mid-size or large companies to successful and timely completion
