Senior Project Manager - ServiceNow "Greenfield" Migration / Implementation - 12 months contract - outside IR35

Senior Project Manager sought to commence work on a ServiceNow migration as one of my clients' wider programmes taking place. ServiceNow had previously been implemented - not as successfully as hoped and so you will need to have clear successful and demonstrable "end to end" ServiceNow implementation and migration experience for an IT Services Provider / MSP / IT Reseller with multiple stakeholders across senior executives, technology leads and sales leaders.

We are not looking for a Programme Manager for this - this is still a delivery focused and engaging PM who will need to be excellent at understanding where and why the original transformation project failed and using your experience to provide the right solution for this ITSM transformation project for this hugely successful customer!

It is a key success factor that you will have excellent interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical peers and stakeholders and able to "win the hearts and minds" of those around based on the previous ServiceNow implementation.

It is envisaged this will take you around 12 months and we are hoping to have someone in place by the start of June - so it's a reasonably fast-moving projects for a considerable amount of time. You will be expected to be onsite close to the M25 / M40 / M4 junctions with a few days to work from home - but this is not from the outset a 100% remote role.

Establish project team structure and communication plan, aligning approach with various 3rd parties
Build, own and drive the overall project delivery plan across all workstreams - technical andOversee partner delivery, ensuring appropriate measures are in place to manage performance

Manage and mitigate end to end delivery and business risk through continual quality assurance and review of project scope, solutions, plans, governance, risk/issues, resources, ROI and 3rd party suppliers
Communicating progress and potential challenges and gateways to success are key to stakeholders
Owning project communication and business change activities working alongside project sponsors and relevant heads of department
Experience of successfully leading "end to end" complex IT transformation projects at a medium and large scale
In particular, experience with ITSM (IT Service Management) projects, e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, Jira or Ivanti
Strong people and stakeholder management up to C-suite
