Senior Planner

£85k + £5k car + 10% Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + Life Assurance

Our client is looking for a Senior Planner to join their Construction London Residential team in London to provide an effective and professional planning and programming service for pre-contract and project teams.

Key Accountabilities

To provide Planning expertise in a number of projects, development, maintain and accurately reporting of the project Programme to Head of Planning and Project team.

Key Responsibilities

Instigate and monitor a balanced suite of performance measurement criteria throughout a project's lifecycle

Ensure proper integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction

Produce integrated tender programme and method statement and present proposals to settlement meeting

Change management: review programme effect of changes and advise on EOT issues

Produce schedules as well as obtain and analyse quotes for all time-related preliminaries

Accountability for the most complex, largest or several significant projects and manage all to a successful conclusion with minimal supervision, this may involve supervising other Planners

Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of Residential projects, fit-out and commissioning.

Good experience in implementing best practice Planning processes and tools (e.g. Asta) in a complex, project environment.

Knowledge and understanding of forms of contract.

Knowledge and experience of analysing critical path and schedule risk.

Degree in appropriate construction or technical discipline and a proven level of experience
