Our client is looking to fill the role of Sr. Manager of Medical Affairs. The Medical Affairs Consultant will participate in key initiatives that drive the Medical Affairs Strategy in supporting the development of Phase IV and RWE research programs in a cross-functional collaboration with other relevant departments. This includes support responses to inquiries by the FDA on therapies, including conducting literature reviews, synthesizing literature, and writing literature reviews; supporting the development of medical education relevant to disease state, and therapeutic landscape for relevant neurological disorders; participate and provide leadership to the development and evolution of the Neuroscience Medical Affairs Strategy. This position will be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the rationale, design, and development of Phase IV and RWE clinical research objectives, including all planning phases of the studies and oversight through trials.
- Interact with appropriate KOLs and seek guidance to ensure the Medical Affairs strategy is clinically relevant and useful
- Develop educational materials for internal and external stakeholders relevant to therapeutic areas and level of audience
- Conduct literature reviews in support of FDA inquiries and strategic objectives
- Organize and manage multiple Medical Affairs projects within CNS and ability to create presentations
- Attend relevant meetings and generate high level summaries
- Assist the support of a large Clinical Educator program, including the development of educational materials
Qualifications:
- MSN, NP/PA, Pharm D., Ph.D., MD, BSN, DNP with clinical experience in neurosciences and 5 years experience in Medical Affairs
- Experience in neuroscience and 5-7 years Medical Affairs experience and project management within clinical operations and/or medical affairs
- Experience in the design of Phase IV and RWE studies highly preferred
- Experience in CNS specifically Psych/ADHD/Depression disease preferred
- Ability to synthesize, write, and present scientific and clinical information preferred
- Ability to work on a team as a team member lead by others, a lead, or co-lead on assigned projects
