Job Role: Receptionist/Admin Support
Salary: Upon Application
A prestigious Engineering company in Barnstaple is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their team in this full time, permanent role.
Main point of telephone contact using the switchboard for all callers
Checking answer phone messages on a daily basis
Opening & distributing of post and any parcels that are delivered
First point of contact for visitors, creation of name badges, updating Covid-19 forms as needed
Arranging refreshments and lunches for meetings as needed
Booking hotels and hire cars as needed
Logistics for any training taking place on site
Ad hoc travel bookings and expense processing for staff
Ordering stationery and maintaining stock levels
Topping up and maintaining the franking machine, franking post and taking to the post office as needed
Maintaining the fire register
Overseeing the pool car, booking out to users, arranging MOT and any repairs
Providing eye care vouchers to employees as needed
Cover for Executive Assistant as needed - including organising travel, expense processing, assistance with events, organising visits, training etc.
General ad hoc admin as needed
Excellent customer service skills
Good IT skills
Ideally previous switchboard experience
