The Position:

Accenture is seeking a strong thought leaderwithdeepcategory expertise for the role ofProcurement Category Manager within theHR / Corporate Professional ServicesProcurement Category Advisorypractice.This role will be dedicated to one client and will focus on sourcing and category managementacross the HR / CPS categories including:
  • HR (Recruitment, Temp Labour, Payroll, Learning & Development, Benefits)
  • CPS (Financial Operations, Legal, Audit, Consulting, Business Intelligence, Fleet, Travel)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement client specific category planning and management for the HR / CPS categories.
  • Developand maintain category-specific knowledge assets and market intelligence that capture expertise / bestpractices
  • Provide strategicsourcingoversight and category knowledge in supportofthe Sourcing Project Management function on projects within categories ofexpertise
  • Infuse market insights into the sourcing process on projects within categories ofexpertise
  • In collaboration with Sourcing Project Management and/or Procurement Practice Advisory, engage with customers' senior management team members toprovide perspective on current market trends toinform client strategic decisions/sourcing initiatives in line with business goals andobjectives
  • Leveragecategoryexpertise tosupportnew sales and drive significant client businessvalue
  • Establish, grow, and leverage network of suppliers, industry practitioners, and procurement professionals within categories ofexpertise
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify continuous cost and performance improvementstrategies
  • Provide educational and learning opportunities to internal colleagues and external clients (ex. Webinar, Spend Trends publications) on industry trends, supplier landscape changes, and market intel within categories ofexpertise
  • Coach and developsourcing project managersin theirprofessional development and pursuit of building category knowledge within area ofexpertise

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of7years of procurement/consulting or category-related industryor supplierexperience
  • Minimum of3years ofstrategic sourcing, category management, and/or professional industry experiencerelated toa range of the following sub-categories:
    • HR (Recruitment, Temp Labour, Payroll, Learning & Development, Benefits)
    • CPS (Financial Operations, Legal, Audit, Consulting, Business Intelligence, Fleet, Travel)
  • Knowledge of Banking Operations or working in a Financial Services organisation desirable
