Process Engineer Polymer Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a passion for optimizing production processes? We are working with a global leader in polymer foam manufacturing, specializing in foam products for a wide range of industries, including construction, packaging, and sports. Our client is looking to appoint a Process Engineer at their site in Croydon.

About the Role:
As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in maximizing profitability by eliminating waste in the production process and ensuring successful delivery of New Product Introductions (NPI) to agreed cost, quality, and timing. You ll apply your expertise in polymer processing and Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement across the production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize profitability by eliminating waste in the production process.
  • Deliver New Product Introductions (NPI) in line with cost, quality, and timing objectives.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and simulation software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, NWA, MATLAB, Sci-Lab) to optimize processes.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools to enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of polymer processing and manufacturing.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and simulation software.
