Responsibilities

Our practice is supported by a team of physician assistants, as well as dedicated clinical staff and multiple OR sites. Candidates would be expected to have familiarity with knee and shoulder arthroscopy including ligament reconstruction, stabilization, and meniscus and tendon repair. Opportunity exists for hip arthroscopy as well, though this is not a requirement of the role.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)
  • 2+ years experience after training preferred
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
  • ACLS required

Candidates should be interested in the care of professional sports teams, as VMFH continues to build its relationships with professional athletics in the region. We are looking for collegial team players with good patient and customer service skills. Our medical group is committed to being the area's first choice for athletes of all ages and levels, and to building a larger group in the years to come. We are looking for physicians and professional providers who embody a passion for excellence to help us achieve our goal.
