Do you have experience of an office environment with a background in either bid or creative writing/marketing looking for a business development bid writing role?

Do you have strong persuasive writing as well as MS Windows skills with the ability or potential to produce high quality presentations & proposals in support of a focused sales team?

This well established and forward thinking organisation currently has a unique opportunity for a Business Development professional with exceptional writing skills to join their highly professional and friendly sales team and carry out a specific and crucial bid writing role that will be vital in the department's ability to increase customer base and reach their targets.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly professional and well established company supporting a dynamic and fast moving sales team and will involve a variety of support tasks that are summarised below:-

Create and execute bid responses, proposals and presentations for prospective clients

Collating pricing proposals

Put together pricing proposals for sales purposes

Manage tender processes

Ensure the database of clients and prospective clients are kept up to date for business development purposes

Client and prospective client interface mainly by phone & e-mail

Research and report writing

Customer service via e-mail and telephone

Customer research

Distribution of tender proposals

Identify new tender opportunities

Administration duties

Contract management
