Part time, hybrid working, and managing a team of volunteers to provide careers advice to ex-offenders. Does this sound like you?
This charity is a great place to work (30 days plus bank hols), family friendly and recognised as one of the Best Company UK employers.
This role is 20 hours a week. You will manage 10 volunteers in Birmingham, and 5 in Wales (Cardiff / Wrexham). In a nutshell, the role is recruiting, training and managing volunteers who provide 2 - 4 hours a week one to one support to ex-offenders to secure employment.
Please apply via this advert. Everyone will get a response. If you do get a response saying we don't think your CV is a match, the email will tell you how you get further feedback / talk to someone as well if you wish.
People who are seeking part time work specifically, who might have previously managed volunteers, been a volunteer themselves, have managed staff, or have worked as a teacher might be a good fit. Or maybe a student studying a related degree like criminology or social studies. You might have worked as a support worker, employment advisor, work coach or careers advisor - the charity are open to backgrounds as long as you have a genuine reason for part time work.
Feel free to call the office and ask for James if you would like to talk in more detail (number on the Red 5 People website).
Please note this role is 20 hours a week, with a salary of £12, 266 (which is the pro rata salary of £23k for a 37 hour week)
