Industrial Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturer

What's in it for you?
Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30PM to 12:00AM
Shift: 3rd Shift - Monday to Friday, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Shift Differential: Additional $0.50 per hour for 3rd shift
Training: Maintenance techs start on first shift for two or three weeks; after completing video trainings, you will be on 1st shift, starting at 4:00 AM to learn line set up and change overs
Employment Type: Full-time hours
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operate standard maintenance tools safely and effectively.
Perform preventative and emergency maintenance work.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics in English.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Competencies & Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Knowledge of PLCs and conveyor systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and time management.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
Skills and Abilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Effective communication with team members and management.
Understand and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Perform welding and fabrication.
Lead with a focus on safety and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age.
Previous experience in industrial/plant maintenance repair experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
Able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Manufacturing production floor environment.
Exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and temperature fluctuations.
Refrigerated/frozen facility with temperatures between 32 to 40 degrees.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
May require weekend and night hours.
