Head of Marketing, Influencer and Social

Retail

Reading/Dublin

Up to £110,000

Salt have partnered with a major high street retailer to source them a Head of Marketing that focuses on Social Media, Influencer and Community. My client is going through a period of transformation and therefore have a newly created role within the Marketing department. You will be taking the lead on executing the brand's comms strategy on both a local and global scale.

The Role:

·Responsible for setting and executing the global marketing strategy both online and offline

·Lead on global social media and influencer strategy, and be tasked with growing the universal community through compelling and engaging media content

·Execute engaging media campaigns on an international level

·Work with paid social teams to drive integrated social media strategies

·Build and develop an organic social team that works seamlessly to create content and post

·Establish and grow online community

·Be seen as an authority on Social Media and the general digital media landsape

·Manage partnerships and collaborations with brands, media and people of influence

·Mentor team and set KPI's for their professional development

The Person:

·Educated to degree level

·10+ experience in Comms with at least 5 years in a senior position

·Solid background in fashion, beauty or FMCG

·Leadership experience a must

·Deep understanding of past and current digital and cultural trends

·Excellent communicator with ability to influence

·Crisis management experience

·Excellent communication skills with ability to present in an influential way

·Highly strategic and analytical

·Digital fluency with a keen interest in the tech landscape and innovations
