Job description: We are looking for an exceptionally creative, smart and strategic Director of Digital Marketing to join our team. The primary function of this role is to drive growth for our business through the implementation of an innovative and results driven Digital Marketing Strategy. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess an entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As the leader of our 'Digital Marketing Agency', servicing multiple business units, brands, and product lines, they will work cross-functionally to collect, prioritize, plan and implement the vision of the business stakeholders. The incumbent will manage our global team of content creators, digital graphics, SEO, and e-commerce specialists to engage with the broader team in support our marketing initiatives and achieve our growth targets.


Create and execute the company's global digital marketing and e-commerce strategy in support of our brands' objectives.
Develop and oversee marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and e-commerce sales growth through various approaches, including our brands' websites, social media, product marketing, paid media, and email campaigns.
Oversee our e-commerce channel strategy and execution in regards to digital shelf presence (content), advertising strategies (Google Adwords) and a collaborative perspective in regards to pricing strategy and promotions with the Sales team.
Oversee the annual digital planning process and strategy development in support of our overall brand plans.
Lead social strategy, planning and execution with team of social media support members to create a cohesive narrative and approach to telling brand stories that are the most effective while developing unique customer personas.
Manage and coach inhouse "Digital Marketing Agency" teammates to create a high performing team where individuals can contribute, experiment, learn, and develop their careers.
Establish and report ecommerce related KPIs; monitor and analyze those to identify and take action on opportunities to improve results
Report to senior leadership team and peers across the organization on program goals, results and progress towards growth objectives
Act as digital thought-leader and educate the marketing organization and internal teams on the power of best practices and emerging opportunities.
Partner with Sales and Product Managers to create strategies for new products and key initiatives. Develop marketing campaigns and strategies and track success rates
Analyze content and campaign performance, present results to leadership and have a strong opinion about how campaign performance can direct future strategy
Lead the design and tracking of Voice of the Customer
Manage external emails, the distribution of leads and the lead generation tracking tool
Translation of the strategy into executional creative briefs, partnering closely with other teams, leveraging data, customer mindset and business trends
Website optimization, updates and strategic changes as necessary
Gather and analyze customer behavior data in web traffic and rankings
Manage marketing department annual budget


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Data Analytics or Statistics is required
8-10 years of success in digital and content marketing in a B2B environment
Experience using and marketing across social networks and blogs including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (Hootsuite knowledge is a plus)
Experienced in Marketing Automation tools (such as Pardot, ClickDimensions, Marketing Dynamics or Eloqua) as well as CRM such as Dynamics or Salesforce
Experience promoting SaaS business models
Experienced in web content management systems (such as Sitecore or Kentico)
Knowledge of ecommerce platforms (such as Shopify or BigCommerce)
Comfortable using Google Analytics and other marketing technologies
Ability to write clear and concise copy on a variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as website, blogs, press releases, case studies, social media, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be conscientious, detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
Travel 10-25%
