Our relationship with Walmart & Sam's Club allows us to bring millions of bikes and toys to market each year. Join us in Bentonville, AR as the Digital Marketing Manager driving our eCommerce strategy with Walmart.


Our ideal candidate will reside in the Bentonville, AR area to streamline work with our local team and Walmart.


Below are a few (but not all) of the key responsibilities for the Walmart Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Work with the Walmart, Brand and Product teams to define our assortment strategies by site including defining product strategy; good, better, best platform strategy; adjacent categories and collaborations
  • Identify white space in the assortment and work with Walmart and the internal team to fill the gaps
  • Item lifecycle management including initiating new item set up, forecasting and discontinuation
  • Ownership of online merchandising catalog set up process, product categorization and product cross-sell
  • Develop an onsite merchandising strategy that puts the consumer at the center of the buying process, and in doing so we not only improve our conversion rate but also enhance our brand experience
  • Work with the Walmart team, brand teams, and retailer teams to celebrate key products through our site experience
  • Determine and implement best practices in presenting our product content
  • Work collaboratively to take site improvement projects from concept to full implementation
  • Build and evolve the onsite digital marketing strategies including SEO and Content, affiliate program, email, and product reviews
  • Work collaboratively with retailer marketing teams to build and execute marketing campaigns and analyze data from each campaign
  • Work collaboratively with the internal brand team to ensure brand messaging is in line with band guidelines
  • Produce a dashboard the highlights the impact of marketing tactics, taking action based on those results
  • Identify sales opportunities from customer behavior, ratings and reviews, customer satisfaction surveys and feedback forms, and working with merchandising to showcase product effectively
  • Work with product, sales, finance and retailer teams to establish the pricing and promotion strategy by site and by category
  • Within the item set up process, establish the go to market pricing by category and item
  • Work with internal and retailer marketing teams to develop and manage our overall promotional strategy including holiday and peak sales periods

Education & Experience Requirements

This role typically requires 5+ years of experience in a digital/eCommerce-driven role focusing on product merchandising and promotional strategy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field
  • Experience with project management/resource allocation, client relations, managing cross-functional teams
  • Online experience and knowledge of web analytics, SEO, web design, site functionality, and /or digital marketing and experience in a branded product environment
  • Experience in setting and managing to sales and margin goals, as well as the ability to interpret web analytics and optimize merchandising plans to drive sales
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, "self-starter" environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple work streams simultaneously
  • The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
  • The ability to use and understand financial and numerical data to make decisions and influence outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage communication within highly matrixed and large organization; able to confidently interact at all levels of the organization and across multiple geographies and departments
