THE ROLE - CHEF DE PARTIE, SOUS CHEF, BREAKFAST CHEF
We are looking for chefs of all levels, including Chef De Partie, Sous Chef and Breakfast Chef for a stunning hotel in the Horley area. This site boasts beautiful grounds, with their own vegetable patch and herb garden. They have recently had an established General Manager and highly skilled Head Chef join the team. They use fresh seasonal produce all year round and regularly change their menus to reflect this.
* Complete all required mise en place for your designated section
* Run your section through a busy service, communicating well with the rest of the team
* Keep everything labelled and stored in a safe manner
* Help train new team members
* Bring new menu ideas to the table
THE PERSON PROFILE
The successful Chef De Partie, Sous Chef or Breakfast Chef will have previous experience in a fine dining setting and be able to work in any section of the kitchen. This client is looking for people that want a long-term career rather than just a job. They will always look to promote from within and would like to train and progress their staff as much as possible.
Will be provided on site.
5 days out of 7
20 days holiday plus 8 in lieu of bank holidays
You will be working approximately 50 hours per week, however this can vary from week to week.
