The primary purpose of Bid Manager is to support Six Degrees' numerous bid tendering and proposal generation activities across both the public and private sector. The Bid Manager is responsible for assembling and managing the bid, the process and stakeholders, to prepare winning bids and maximise sales.
Using the bid process, the Bid Manager will direct the bid ensuring complete team adherence to templates, tools and governance gates, having full responsibility for the resulting bid response, through to signature of the contract and handover into project delivery.
In addition, they play a key role in collaborating with people across the business as they help develop and maintain a bid library that will drive efficiency and improve knowledge sharing within Six Degrees.
To deliver brilliant results as our Bid Manager we feel it essential that you have a background in this area within managed service company or in the tech industry with a similar portfolio of products (cloud, infrastructure, cyber, connectivity). The role requires an individual who is organised, efficient, analytical and can work to tight deadlines. Needless to say, you will have excellent written and verbal skills and are able to build successful working relationships both internally and externally.
