Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Mechanic to join their team. As an Apprentice Automotive Mechanic, you will be part of the service department supporting vehicle maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for automotive technology, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Apprentice Automotive Mechanic
Location: Goffs, NS
Pay Range: $50,000
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (no weekends)
What's the Job?
- Perform light mechanical inspections and repairs such as brakes, batteries, lights, belts, and fluid changes
- Change oil, oil filters, fuel filters, and perform transmission flushes
- Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards
- Assist senior mechanics with various repair tasks and diagnostics
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
What's Needed?
- No prior experience required; motivated individuals encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
